Today Jesse is talking about simply giving information vs creating connections. It’s a simple concept but is often overlooked when building a business online. Is your social media content too information driven, are you just trying to sound smart? Or is the information easy to understand and relatable to your desired audience? Your content won’t turn into communication from potential clients unless there’s connection. The number one way to connect with people is to tell stories, talk about something they might be able to relate to. Another way to connect is to ask questions, give them an opportunity to talk, and you listen. In order for people to know, like, and trust you, you have to connect with people. You can be the best of the best, with all the latest and correct information, but without that personal connection you won’t even get the chance to show it.
